Let me remind you; I'm a retired barrister - no longer practising as a lawyer. So I'm not qualified to give legal advice, or to represent you in any way.  I'm not regulated by any professional body, and I carry no insurance to protect you if I get something wrong.  But many years of experience and a great deal of common sense have equipped me with an understanding of people; of argument and conflict; of how to defend and when to attack, and, most important of all, of when to compromise.

You buy a vehicle you saw in a magazine like autotrader, or in a local newspaper.  After a few days of ownership you realize that you've been conned.
And here is a great tip::
One good letter is worth more than 50 telephone calls.

If your case goes to Court, what you wrote or signed before you went to your solicitor carries more weight than any verbal evidence you give in Court.  So any letters you send (or receive) before legal proceedings commence are absolutely vital to the outcome.
