| Let me remind you about this; I'm a retired barrister - no longer practising as a lawyer. So I'm not qualified to give legal advice, or to represent you in any way. I'm not regulated by any professional body, and I carry no insurance to protect you if I get something wrong. | Neighbours can make your life hell. But the solution does not often lie in legal proceedings. A wise man grits his teeth and negotiates with his unruly neighbours. |
| Most legal cases are won or lost before they start - even before you've been to see either the Citizens Advice Bureau or your solicitor. |

One
good letter is worth more than 50 telephone calls. |
| If your case goes to Court, what you wrote or signed before you went to your solicitor carries more weight than any verbal evidence you give in Court. | So any letters you send (or receive) before legal proceedings commence are absolutely vital to the outcome. |
