Let me remind you about this; I'm a retired barrister - no longer practising as a lawyer. So I'm not qualified to give legal advice, or to represent you in any way.  I'm not regulated by any professional body, and I carry no insurance to protect you if I get something wrong.  Neighbours can make your life hell.  But the solution does not often lie in legal proceedings. A wise man grits his teeth and negotiates with his unruly neighbours.

Most legal cases are won or lost before they start - even before you've been to see either the Citizens Advice Bureau or your solicitor.
And here is a great tip::
One good letter is worth more than 50 telephone calls.

If your case goes to Court, what you wrote or signed before you went to your solicitor carries more weight than any verbal evidence you give in Court.  So any letters you send (or receive) before legal proceedings commence are absolutely vital to the outcome.
